Terms and Conditions of Sale (T&Cs)
Article 1 – Purpose and Terms of Sale
The gallery www.scripofrance.com is dedicated to the sale of collectible Stocks and Bonds. Scripophily consists of collecting old stock certificates (and all related documents: shares, bonds, loans, coupons, etc.), whether or not they were listed on an exchange.
All documents sold by Scripofrance are originals. The prices are applicable only on the day the order is placed. The prices of our products may be modified without prior notice. Scripofrance reserves the right to change or suspend the Service (or any part thereof) at any time. In the event of a document being unavailable, the order may be partially or entirely canceled, or a similar document may be offered.
Article 2 – Payment Terms
Payment for orders must be made within 15 days of the purchase date (for payments made by check or bank transfer). After this period, Scripofrance reserves the right to cancel any order without prior notice. Accepted payment methods are:
• Credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Eurocard) – payment secured via Stripe
• Check (for France only), in euros, made payable to Régis Jorand
• Bank transfer (the bank details are provided upon order confirmation)
All additional fees related to the payment method are the responsibility of the buyer.
Article 3 – Discounts
Discounts are granted based on the purchase amount (excluding shipping fees):
• From 250 to 500 euros: 3% discount
• From 501 to 1000 euros: 5% discount
• Over 1000 euros: 10% discount
Any proposal for large orders can be considered by appointment via scripophily@scripofrance.com
Article 4 – Shipping and Delivery
Shipping fees are automatically calculated based on the total weight, destination, and selected delivery method (standard letter, tracked letter, registered mail R1/R2/R3, or Colissimo).
- Orders are shipped within 15 business days after payment confirmation, using La Poste or Colissimo, in rigid cardboard envelopes or suitable parcels.
- A free in-store pickup option is available on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 16 Rue du 4 Septembre, 34500 Béziers.
ScripoFrance is not liable for loss, damage, or delivery delays caused by postal services.
Article 5 – Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with Article L121-20 of the Consumer Code, you have a period of 14 days from the receipt of the items to exercise your right of withdrawal without having to justify your decision or pay any penalties, except for the return shipping costs. Returned documents must be in the same condition as when received.
Article 6 – Certificate of Authenticity
As a French expert in scripophily for over 30 years, Scripofrance is able to issue a Certificate of Authenticity for the ordered documents.
General Terms of Use (GTU)
Article 1 – Purpose
These General Terms of Use (GTU) define the terms and conditions for accessing and using the website www.scripofrance.com. Accessing the site implies full acceptance of these terms without reservation.
Article 2 – Access to the Website
The website www.scripofrance.com is freely accessible to any user with internet access. All costs related to access (hardware, software, internet connection, etc.) are exclusively the responsibility of the user.
Article 3 – User Obligations
The user agrees to use the website in compliance with applicable French law. The user is prohibited from engaging in any conduct that may adversely affect the proper functioning of the site, including but not limited to:
- Disseminating illicit or harmful content.
- Transmitting viruses or malicious software.
- Using the website for unauthorized commercial purposes.
In case of violation of these obligations, Scripofrance reserves the right to suspend or block the user's access to the site.
Article 4 – Liability
Scripofrance strives to ensure the accuracy and regular updating of information provided on the website but cannot guarantee its completeness. The company disclaims all liability in case of errors, inaccuracies, or omissions, as well as in the event of interruption, malfunction, or unavailability of the website.
Article 5 – Hypertext Links
The website may contain hypertext links to other websites. Scripofrance has no control over the content of these third-party websites and disclaims any liability concerning their access or content.
Article 6 – Intellectual Property
The entire content of the website www.scripofrance.com (texts, images, logos, graphics, etc.) is protected by intellectual property rights and remains the exclusive property of Scripofrance. Any unauthorized reproduction, copying, adaptation, or distribution is prohibited and may lead to legal proceedings.
Article 7 – Modifications of the GTU
Scripofrance reserves the right to modify these GTU at any time. It is the user's responsibility to regularly consult them to stay informed about any updates.
Article 8 – Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These General Terms of Use are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, only French courts shall have jurisdiction.
